考多益時，如果你發現自己閱讀部分寫不完

有可能是以下狀況的其中一種

1. 花太多時間在閱讀第五部分的文法題目

2. 單字太多

3. 閱讀速度太慢且太仔細

今天，Chen老師要針對第五部分，給你一些tip

希望對你文法功力上，有一定的幫助

首先，請你先練習"動詞"

原因-- 英文句子的基礎，來自動詞

     -- 每句中，只有一個動詞，也是句子的重心

     -- 動詞能透露時間(時態變化)

     -- 動詞告訴你狀態 (主被動)

舉例-- Go;stand up;再簡單的句子，也有動詞

<題目練習>

1. The waiter ---- the soup for the second course into crystal bowls at last night’s banquet.

a)      pour

b)      will pour

c)      was poured

d)      poured

2. Since the company is currently undergoing a financial audit, all large purchases ---- until the 24^th of this month.  

a)      are suspending

b)      have suspended

c)      will be suspended

d)      were being suspended

3. After months of pressure from the media, Aurora Manufacturing has finally ---- that it is responsible for the contamination of Sussex Lake.  

a)      admitted

b)      admit

c)      admitting

d)      admits

4. We regret to inform you that one of the eight kitchen cabinets you delivered on July 4 ---- ,and we hope you can give us a satisfactory explanation.

a)      has damaged

b)      had damaged

c)      was damaged

d)      were damaged

5. The two accounting firms ---- the terms of the merger and will likely release the details of the agreement to the media next Monday.

a)      negotiates

b)      negotiating

c)      are negotiating

d)      were negotiated

在做第五大類的題目時，我會建議同學先看選項

而不是馬上閱讀題目

因為選項能告訴你題目考的方向

如果你觀察夠仔細，會發現上面5題的選項有一個特性

那就是圍繞著同一個字做變化

答案(DCACC)

1. pour

2. suspend

3. admit

4. damage

5. negotiate

而這5個字，都是動詞

所以題目只可能往兩個方向走

第一，考你動詞與主詞關係

第二，考你時態與狀態

看到這種選項的題目時，應該先回去題目中找，看有沒有動詞

若沒有動詞，接下來便要中找出當動詞用的選項，例如第3題

has的出現，你要能聯想到 have/has+p.p.(完成式)

因此，可以刪除不是這種用法的選項

而第一題，發現單純考動詞

那就是時態的考題，而與時態有相關的語詞如下

現在式--now,today

過去式--yesterday,last week,for the past two days

未來式--tomorrow,next year,in the future

現在，把你手中有的練習題再拿出來

找出這種選項的題型

刻意的去照上述的方法練習

保證你練習個20題後
